Sherry, office manager
Sherry started working at the Shorewood Animal Hospital in 1994 as a receptionist. She has since become our office manager and oversees our kennel assistants and our other receptionists. She also deals with much of the day-to-day functioning of the hospital. In addition, she volunteers with the Wisconsin Doberman Rescue.
Trish has been with the Shorewood Animal Hospital since 1997. She is one of our receptionists and is affectionately known as "the treat lady" by many of our canine patients. She has 2 dogs - a miniature Dachshund named Henry and a Maltese/Yorkie mix named LuLu. She also has three adorable cats, Jezebell, Mable, and Betty Lou.
Amber started working for the Shorewood Animal Hospital in 2013 as a receptionist. She shares her home with a crazy Pomeranian/Papillon Mix named Nova, a Dachshund Mix named Rosie, and a Siamese cat named Mija.
Katie joined the Shorewood Animal Hospital as a receptionist in 2017. She graduated from UW-Milwaukee in Spring of 2017. She shares her home with her beloved cat, Patches, who loves to snuggle and give lots of kisses.
Tatiana, receptionist/veterinary assistant
Tatiana started working at the Shorewood Animal Hospital in 2018 as a receptionist/veterinary assistant. She shares her home with a variety of interesting & exotic pets!
Julie, practice manager/Certified Veterinary Technician
Julie started working at the Shorewood Animal Hospital in 1991 as a veterinary assistant. Over the years she completed veterinary technology classes at Cedar Valley College and obtained her CVT license. She is also the clinic's practice manager and oversees all of the staff and is responsible for much of the general functioning of the business. She is a self-proclaimed "crazy cat lady" and enjoys interacting with every cat she sees, even the challenging ones! She shares her Caledonia home with three nutty cats, a food stealing pastel calico named Sibby, a wild torbie named Olive and a sweet long haired brown tabby named Maple. She is also the proud owner of 12 crazy chickens!
Shayna, Certified Veterinary Technician
Shayna has been with the Shorewood Animal Hospital since 2004. She received her associate's degree in Veterinary Technology in 2004 from Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology in Colorado & received her veterinary technician license shortly after. Shayna has always had an interest in shelter work and continues to work at the Wisconsin Humane Society part-time. She enjoys spending time with her two wrinkly Sharpei mix's, Mona & Bruce and her colorful collection of rescued birds.
Nicole, Certified Veterinary Technician
Nicole joined the Shorewood Animal Hospital in June of 2014. She graduated from Madison Area Technical College in May of 2014 with an associates degree in Veterinary Technology and received her CVT license shortly after. She shares her home with 2 cats - an orange tabby named Bob and a sassy dilute calico named Juno. She also has a Boston Terrier named Jovi and a Blue Heeler Mix named Elliot.
Jenn, Certified Veterinary Technician
Jenn joined the Shorewood Animal Hospital in June of 2014. She graduated from Madison Area Technical College in May of 2014 with an Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology and received her CVT license shortly after. She shares her home with a Shepherd Mix named Karo and a black Labrador mix named Maddie.
Kaille, Certified Veterinary Technician
Kaille joined the Shorewood Animal Hospital in September of 2016. She graduated from Kaplan College in Phoenix, AZ with an Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology in 2009. She shares her home with a Puggle named Jesie, a Pit Bull Mix named Dudley, and a cat named Dilly.
Hannah, Certified Veterinary Technician
Hannah has been a veterinary assistant with the Shorewood Animal Hospital since 2009. She completed veterinary technician courses at Cedar Valley College and obtained her Certified Veterinary Technician license in 2017. She has two rambunctious dogs at home: Bella, a Lab mix and Quinn, an American Staffordshire Terrier mix.
Michelle, veterinary assistant/technician student
Michelle has been a veterinary assistant with the Shorewood Animal Hospital since 2009. She is in school at Cedar Valley College to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. Michelle also has a special interest in animal behavior. She has participated in several behavior seminars and does substantial independent studying. She has one domestic longhair cat, Mr. Belvidere, from the Humane Society and two rescue dogs - an orthopedically challenged Newfoundland named Harvey, and a goofy Bernese Mountain Dog named Ranger.
Amanda, Certified Veterinary Technician
Amanda joined the Shorewood Animal Hospital in 2017 as a Certified Veterinary Technician. Previously she has worked at a feline only clinic and has a strong interest in striving to handle cats as "stress-free" as possible. She shares her home with 3 wonderful cats of her own - Baby, Wily, and Sterling.
Tania, veterinary assistant/receptionist
Tania has been a veterinary assistant at the Shorewood Animal Hospital since 2007. She is currently working full time as a Registered Nurse. Even with her busy schedule, she still manages to fill in for us on some Saturday mornings. She shares her home with a sweet and furry cat named Gizmo, a friendly Cockatiel named Birdie and a goldfish named Moses.
Alonzo, veterinary assistant/receptionist
Alonzo began working at the Shorewood Animal Hospital in 2015 as a veterinary assistant. He is currently a student at UW-Milwaukee.
Maggie, veterinary assistant/receptionist
Maggie started working for the Shorewood Animal Hospital in 2017 as a receptionist/veterinary assistant. She currently resides in Shorewood with her family and her sweet cat Moe.
Lauren, veterinary assistant/receptionist
Lauren began working for the Shorewood Animal Hospital in 2018 as a veterinary assistant/receptionist. She has previously worked in veterinary medicine as a receptionist and is enjoying learning new skills working "in the back"!
Kelsey, veterinary assistant/receptionist
Kelsey began working for the Shorewood Animal Hospital in 2018 as a veterinary assistant/receptionist.
Chris, kennel/veterinary assistant
Chris started working for the Shorewood Animal Hospital in 2016 as a kennel assistant. He was quickly promoted to the position of veterinary assistant. He is currently a pre-vet student at UW - Milwaukee. He has an orange and white tabby cat named Samwise.
Cal, kennel assistant
Cal started working at the Shorewood Animal Hospital in 2018 as a kennel assistant. He is currently a high school student in Shorewood.
