The Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Association's (WVMA)
goal is to provide purpose and meaning to current members
of the association. This is done through annual conferences,
continued education and research. WVMA is also an advocate
and promoter of animal disease prevention and control, as well as
the humane care and treatment of all animals.
The American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) endeavors to
improve animal and human health through the advancement of
the science and art of veterinary medicine. In addition,
veterinarians are provided with a forum on which to discuss
significant issues from which official positions are established.
